KINGMAN — Nine people were indicted Thursday on felony charges stemming from a raid the day before by a state gang task force.
Taking part in “Operation Catch 22”, the task force made the arrests Wednesday at various locations in Bullhead City, Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley, Lake Havasu City and Laughlin.
On Thursday, a Mohave County grand jury indicted Ryan David Welsh, 26, of Lake Havasu City, Shawn Patrick Bailey, 36, of Bullhead City, Gabriel Timothy Nader Jr., 25, of Bullhead City, and Kenneth William Gallego, 35, of Fort Mohave.
Welsh, Bailey and Nader were indicted for aggravated assault, riot and assisting in a criminal street gang. Gallego was indicted for assisting in a criminal street gang and attempted influencing of a witness. The suspects are expected to be arraigned in Superior Court on Monday.

The suspects, alleged members or followers of the Vagos Motorcycle Club, are charged with allegedly assaulting a man Dec. 23 at Lazy Harry’s Saloon and Lounge in Bullhead City.
The arrests were the result of an eight-month investigation by officers from a state and county gang task force into crimes in the Bullhead City and Lake Havasu areas. The task force investigated reports of alleged assaults, witness intimidation, drug sales, motorcycle thefts and possession of stolen property, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Also arrested in the sweep were Nick Bernard Prano, 55, of Lake Havasu, Paul Anthony Villegas, 41, of Lake Havasu City, Robert Wayne Mann, 46, of Bullhead City, Robert George Keller III, 36, of Bullhead City, and Daniel Michael McDonald, 53, of Fort Mohave.
They were indicted Thursday for vehicle theft, possession of a vehicle with a defaced vehicle identification number and assisting in a criminal street gang that allegedly occurred Jan. 20 in Lake Havasu City. They are expected to be arraigned Monday.
